HEART COMMEMORATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY OF ‘DREAMBOAT ANNIE’ WITH SIX LIMITED EDITION PLAQUES ON FEBRUARY 15TH

With the esteemed release of the stunning debut album Dreamboat Annie in 1976, this impressive rock record released forty years ago put Ann and Nancy Wilson on the map and skyrocketed their career throughout the 70s. Dreamboat Annie spent 100 weeks on the charts and is a multi-platinum selling record. "Crazy on You" entered the top 40, along with "Magic Man" climbing to No. 9. In appreciation of their fans, Heart celebrates the anniversary release by commissioning six special plaques available this February. Dreamboat Annie is just one of their multiple multi-platinum albums. Ann and Nancy dedicate this special offer to the loyalty of their fans and a portion of the proceeds will go to support Grammy In The Schools and Planned Parenthood.

On Monday, February 15th, the plaques will be available for purchase at WWW.HEARTYGR.COM. The plaques will include holograms and vary from sizes 8x10, 8x20, 16x20, 32x32, and a special 19.75x33 plaque sold exclusively in the Ultimate Meet and Greet Packages. Certain plaques include official RIAA Multi-Platinum Record Awards and all are personalized with your name engraved, hand numbered and accompanied with a hand signed Certificate of Authenticity.

“With each purchase you’ll be pitching in with us to help bring the gift of music into young lives through the Grammy In The Schools program as well as supporting Planned Parenthood.  Both are essential and vital humanitarian services. We both feel it is our responsibility to give back to the community and to work together toward making this world a better place to live in.” – Ann & Nancy Wilson

Fronted by Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Ann and Nancy Wilson, the sisters have released classic, raw, rock and roll hits for more than four decades. As the only sisters in rock who write their own music and play their own instruments, Ann and Nancy have always stood apart - certainly from their male counterparts - but also from their female peers. By refusing to let themselves and their music be defined by their gender, and by never allowing their sexuality to overshadow their talent, the Wilson sisters have made their mark, and in the process paved the way for many of today’s female artists.
