Ann Wilson to appear on VH1 Classics' "Rock Icons" March 14
VH1’s Classic presents “ROCK ICONS” an original docu-series profiling the most legendary artists in the history of rock music. Premiering Saturday February 21, 2015, “ROCK ICONS” is 10 groundbreaking 30-minute episodes that go past the veil of mystery and beyond the velvet ropes with in-depth, intimate portraits revealing who these rock stars really are, and the road that lead them to their iconic status today. Each episode is jam-packed with exclusive interviews, never-before-seen footage with featured artists and key people who helped shape their exemplary careers. Produced by Banger Films, “ROCK ICONS” brings together elements of celebrated shows such as Classic Albums, Biography, Iconoclasts, and Banger’s own hit show Metal Evolution. “ROCK ICONS” is a landmark series celebrating the innovative artists who defined the history of rock music.
The debut episode will highlight Rush’s lead singer and bassist, Geddy Lee, showcasing his remarkable musical talent and drive that was greatly influenced by the early passing of his father. Whether through wine collecting, a devotion to the sport of baseball, or caring for his massive collection of rare musical instruments, Geddy Lee is determined to live every bit of his life to the fullest. The episode also includes brand-new interviews with his fellow bandmates for the past 40 years, Neil Peart and Alex Lifeson.
