Ann Wilson's episode of ROCK ICONS set to air on HBO Canada November 29

From the basement music room in Slash’s home, to Nikki Sixx’s radio studio, to backstage at a Heart concert moments before Ann Wilson takes the stage, ROCK ICONS celebrates the innovative artists who defined the history of rock music, offering an intimate, revealing portrait of who they really are and the road that led them to their iconic status. Produced by Toronto-based Banger Films (RUSH: BEYOND THE LIGHTED STAGE, SUPER DUPER ALICE COOPER) and VH1 Classic, and directed by Canadians Sam Dunn and Scot McFayden, the 10-part, half-hour documentary series debuts Sunday, Nov. 1 at 10:30 p.m. ET/MT on HBO Canada. Each episode of ROCK ICONS goes beyond the velvet rope with never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews with featured artists and those who helped build their remarkable careers. Other musical giants featured in ROCK ICONS include: Rob Halford (Judas Priest); Ted Nugent (The Motor City Madman); Ann Wilson (Heart); Dave Mustaine (Megadeth); Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe); Slash (Guns N’ Roses); Daryl Hall (Hall & Oates); Joe Elliott (Def Leppard); and Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins).
